Childgrens Party Sat 13th December

This is an Appeal for Assistance.
You may or may not be aware that I
have given up the job of compairing the kids Christmas party. It is time to step down and pass it on to a fresh face, someone who is good with kids, knows how to entertain, and perhaps someone even younger.

The lodge committee had a meeting to discuss what we would should  do with the parties and it was felt that we should continue them. But to continue with the parties we are going to have to make a few changes and with your assistance we are confident that they will  be every bit as sucsessful in the future as they have been in the past.

The changes we propose are not too drastic - they are as follows-
The Lodge will no longer be supplying the presents this will be down to the parents. we are asking that parents bring along wrapped presents on the day with a lable that should state childs full name, age.  we are asking a maximum cost of present be £15 to be spent, this request we are asking for commonsence to prevail as we do not want some children to be seen with a £100 prize and others at £15. well you can see the problem this would cause. Tearful and upset children we do not want at our parties.
we will continue to have two parties (depending on numbers). They will have the same formatt as in previous years,
 party 1  ages   =0 to 4.       party 2 ages   =5 to 10 .........
Music and entertainment -games - crisps , selection box and juice -Santa and grotto will all be supplied by the lodge free of charge to children of brethren who are clear in the books of the lodge., this expands to grandchildren, neice ,nephews who all fall under the lodge party criteria ( Brethren  must be clear in the books of Lodge).

Anyone wishing their child to be at the parties should visit the lodge on an opening night and put names onto the list  which will be on the notice board in the bar area

Along with three other members of the Lodge I have been tasked to find a replacement within the next seven days, so I would ask if you would like or perhaps know someone who would like to take on the task of compairing the event. this invite is open to Mothers, Daughters -Sons who are of an age that are willing to give up their time. perhaps a group of people would enjoy the task. all is up for discussion. so if your interested contact me at the lodge, or the lodge facebook. thank you
William McDonald
